Lady Macbeth is destined to relive her most tragic moment in a never ending loop for eternity. Starring actress CORALINA CATALDI-TASSONI www.coralina.net (MOTHER OF TEARS, PHANTOM OF THE OPERA) as Lady Macbeth and directed by MARIANO BAINO www.marianobaino.com (DARK WATERS, CARUNCULA), this new and highly anticipated short film is a screen adaptation of Lady Macbeth’s soliloquy from Shakespeare’s play MACBETH, Act 5, Scene 1. Creative teamwork was paramount to the making of LADY M 5.1, because so many artistic aspects were taken on by the partnership Baino & Cataldi-Tassoni. They worked together on the film’s production design, the film's director, Mariano Baino also adapted Shakespeare's work for the screen, edited, handled the film's Visual Effects as well as designing and hand-making all the creatures which inhabit Lady Macbeth’s surreal world, while lead actress Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni, who plays Lady Macbeth, also wrote the music and created the costumes.
